Attached is the field_d.jpg file which contains the wx satellite image that I downloaded during field day with the XWARN club. Let me know if I missed some information that may be of interest to others.

The technical information is as follows:

Satellite Information:
Satellite: NOAA12

End of Pass: 23:33 UTC
EPOCH: 36979
Pass: South to North
Downlink Freq: 137.5 MHz

Receiving Station:
Antenna: Quadrifilar Helix (Ref QST August 1996)
Receiver: Yaesu FT-50-RD
Frequency: 137.5 MHz
Modulation: Wide FM
Image Storage: Audio Tape Record
General Description: The audio output from the receiver was feed into the microphone input of the audio tape recorder.

Image Processing:

Software: Wettersatellit Amateurversion V 2.30 (freeware) (Ref QST August 1997)
General Description: The audio output from the tape player was feed into the microphone input on the sound card. By setting a few parameters the software does the rest.

The downloading of the wx image was performed at the XWARN Field Day site. The image processing was performed at my home QTH later in the evening.
