THE DEVICE ISOLATES THE TRANSCEIVER FROM THE COMPUTER VIA ELECTRONICS WHILE ALLOWING THE AUDIO (BOTH TRANSMIT AND RECEIVE) TO PASS THRU.  THE DEVICE ALSO ALLOWS THE COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE TO KEY THE TRANSMITTER SO AS TO SEND GRAPHIC FILES.

 

JUST TO TRY THE PROGRAM WITHOUT SPENDING ANY MONEY, SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE EASYPAL PROGRAM (BY THE WAY IT’S FREE).  AFTER SETING UP THE PROGRAM, CONNECT A MICROPHONE TO YOUR COMPUTER AND PLACE IT IN FRONT OF YOUR TRANSCEIVER SPEAKER.  THEN TUNE YOUR TRANSCEIVER (OR RECEIVER FOR THAT MATTER)  TO ONE OF THE PRESCRIBED DIGITAL FREQUENCIES ON THE BAND THAT HAPPENS TO BE WORKING BEST AT THE TIME OF DAY YOU ARE WORKING THE PROGRAM. THIS SIMPLE SETUP WILL ALLOW YOU TO RECEIVE ONLY.  TO SEND YOU SHOULD USE AN INTERFACE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
