| The 2008 Element 4 (Extra Class) question pool is hereby released to public use. This pool will become effective for examinations given on or after July 1, 2008, and will remain active until replaced by a subsequent version. As of this writing, this pool is scheduled to be in service until June 30, 2012. |

The Extra Class License Test will be a 50 Question test. The Questions will be selected from the Element 4 ( Extra Class ) Question Pool.
This Pool is divided into Sub Elements E1 through E0. Sub Element 1 - Commission's Rules is broken down into six sections, E1A through E1F resulting in a total of six questions on the test being drawn from Sub Element 1 By analyzing the number of questions you are likely to get in any given area, you can maxamise your study time Also notice that many of the questions in any sub element sections are often asking the same question from a different perspective. This information can be helpful in focusing your study time to the specific areas needed.
