The Wireless Society of
Southern Maine has two homes! During the Fall and Winter, we meet at
the Gorham Recreation Department, and during the summer months, we meet
at Wassamki Springs Campground.
We
monitor 147.540 MHz, from 6:45-7:00 PM for "talk-in."

Directions to Gorham
Municipal Center
(From
September-May) We meet the second Thursday of each month, from 7PM-9PM
in either the “Fish Bowl,” or Multipurpose Room, at the Gorham
Recreation Department, located at the Municipal Center, on Ballpark
Road, in Gorham, ME.

From Saco
- Take Rt.
112 to the intersection of Rt. 202, and at the end of 112, take another
right onto
Rt. 202 and follow to the intersection of Rt. 25. From there, take a
right onto Rt. 25 (Main Street), and travel about 1/2 mile into village
center. Take a right onto Rt. 114 (South Street). Gorham House of Pizza
will be on the right. Amato's will be across the street. Travel about
7/8 mile and take a right onto Morril Ave - (there will be a bright
yellow sign that says Municipal Center). From Morril Ave, take a right
onto Ball Park
Rd. The municipal Center will be on the right, before the turn. Look
for the
Gorham Recreation entrance.
From
Scarborough
(Oak Hill) - Follow Gorham Road (Rt. 114) west. It will cross Payne
Road at a major
intersection. (Sam's Club will be across the street on the right).
Continue straight on Gorham Rd., past the flashing light and one more
intersection, until the end.Take a left at the light and continue on
Rt. 114, past O'Donnel's Nursery on the left, to the next light. Take a
right at the light,
continuing on Rt. 114. This will take you to a rotary. Continue
straight through the rotary, toward Gorham Village. The speed limit
will decrease to 35 when you get closer to town. Look for Morril
Ave.,on the left. (It will be marked by a bright yellow sign). Take a
left onto Morril, and a right onto Ball Park Rd. The Municipal Center
will be on the right, before the turn. Look for the Gorham Recreation
entrance.
From Westbrook
- Take Rt. 25 (Main Street) toward Gorham, until you come to the
intersection of Rts. 25 and 114 (South Steet). Amato's will be

left. Take a left at the intersection, and travel about 7/8 mile to
Morril Ave. Take a right onto Morril Ave - (there will be a bright
yellow sign that says Municipal Center). From Morril Ave, take a right
onto Ball Park Rd. The Municipal Center will be on the right, before
the turn.Look for the Gorham Recreation entrance.

(From
June-August) We meet each Thursday from 7PM-9PM at the Banquet Hall at
Wassamki Springs Campground, located at 56 Saco Street in Scarborough,
ME.

From Maine
Turnpike (I-95),
take Exit 46 and go 4 miles on Rt. 22 to intersection of Saco Street.
Turn right and go 2/10 mile.
From
Scarborough (Oak Hill)
- Follow Gorham Road (Rt. 114) west. It will cross
Payne Road at a major intersection. (Sam's Club will be across the
street on the right). Continue straight on Gorham Road, past the
flashing light, until you reach an intersection with a stop light. Turn
right onto Saco Street. You will pass a fire station on the left, and
come to another intersection. Go straight through the intersection,
(staying on Saco Street) and the campground will be about 7/8 further
of a mile on your left.
