about amateur radio or ever thought about getting your first license?
Now here's your chance to learn everything you need to know to pass
your Technician class exam.
The Wireless Society of
Southern Maine will conduct a one-day training course on Saturday,
September 24th, from 8:30AM - 5:00PM, at Wassamki
Springs Campground, 56 Saco Street., Scarborough, ME 04074. The cost of
the course is $35 and includes a Study Guide, a License Manual, lunch
and snacks. The License Manual alone, if purchased retail, would cost
this much.
Pre-registration is required by September 9th. A
form is available by clicking the link on the right. Just complete the
form and mail it with payment to the registrar. The advance Study Guide
will be mailed to you for study prior to the class.
There will
be plenty of breaks during the day. On site lunch is provided. The exam
will be conducted at 5PM. Cost of the exam is an additional $15. The
test session will be conducted by the WSSM/ARRL Volunteer Examiner
Team. (Fees for FCC exams are set by the Federal Communications
Commision and the Volunteer Examiner Coordinator - the American Radio
Relay League). |
