The 147.075 Repeater is equipped with an RC-85 controller which can perform many control actions as directed by Touch Tone inputs to the repeater.
The members phone patch is accessed through a PRIVATE (NOT to be disclosed) three
digit access code. The patch is not to be used for commercial purposes and is limited
to less than 3 minutes.You should tell the answering person that you are on the
radio. This patch provides a ONEWAY at a time conversation and YOU are responsible
for all communication that takes place.

You can interrupt the answering party but they cannot interrupt you.
Sometimes the use of "OVER" at the end of your comment may help them to understand
when they can talk. You can terminate the patch at any time by holding PTTdown pressing # then release the PTTup. Please make sure that you are in a good signal location before beginning
your call. Be aware that if you are moving and go into a poor RF location you may
not have the ability to complete or terminate the call because of the repeater not
receiving the hangup command. #. |
