MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:05 A.M. BY Vice President Iris Chase

Members present: W7TXU Jim, KC7ZQD Beth, N7XEQ Craig, W7USR Tom, KE7GPG Iris, W7HNH Jack, KB7XQ Bill, KC7ZUM Ray, K7RZS Phil, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KD7MDX John, and WA7GYD Gloria.
COMMUNICATIONS: NONE
COMMITTEES: Gloria reported that the 50K Elmer’s Race finally has the course layed out. There will be 4 aid stations. The race will be on 19 September. Gloria is still looking for help if anyone is available.. Gloria also is arranging a presentation by the ARRL Division Director for the County Hams. She is looking at a spring date. On 23 September Flu shots will be available at the CMA Church in South Cle Elum from 8 to 2 PM. The decision was made for ARES not to participate in this event.
OLD BUSINESS: NONE
NEW BUSINESS: Jack reported on the damage to the repeater from a close lightning strike. KC7ZQD made a motion to reimburse Jack for the expenses of the repair. The motion was amended to include $75.00 to Tom, W7USR, for coax used in the antenna replacement at the repeater earlier in the year. Jim, W7TXU, seconded the motion and it was carried on the vote.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: It was mentioned that the annual County Ham dinner will be 6PM on the 26th of September at the Homestead Restaurant.
The meeting was adjourned at 0852 hours.
