MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:01 A.M. BY President Bill Lowery

COMMUNICATIONS: NONE

COMMITTEES: The 50K race has been completed. The group was short on amateur help this year. Ken has resigned a organizer but Gloria has volunteered to organize for next year but states she needs help with this race.

ARES is heavily involved in communications for the MCI tomorrow night at Easton. There will be a communications test at 1700 to 1730 hours Monday. The drill will commence at 1800 hours. The control point will be at Kittcom. There will be a station with the IC at Easton and there will be an email this afternoon advising the rest of the assignments. Also ARES will have communications for flu shots at Cle Elum Centennial Center on 16 October and at the theater in Ellensburg on the 23 October. Both dates need personnel at the Public Health building in Ellensburg.

OLD BUSINESS: The annual county ham dinner went very well at Mineral Springs. There were a few comments on the long table arrangement but other than that everyone seemed satisfied. Thanks Gloria for the help getting this organized.

NEW BUSINESS: The members decided that Jack should get a letter describing in detail the plan for possible Peoh Point move of the 7.16 repeater.

Nominations were opened for next years officers. Iris was nominated for vice president and Jack was nominated for secretary-treasurer. The vote will be at the November meeting.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: It was decided that after the November meeting we will move to the Cle Elum Fire Department for a class on digital communications for those that are interested. Tom and Jack will give the class.

The meeting was adjourned at 0853 hours.
