UKCARC MEETING 7 October, 2007

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:02 A.M. BY President Dick Morrison

REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $1451.40

Members present: KC7NTP Hazel, WA7HNH Jack, KD7DGB Jul, Barb, K7KFM Dick, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, W7USR Tom, KC7ZUM Ray, KE7GPG Iris, W7TXU Jim, K7RZS Phil, KB7XQ Bill, KD7MDX John, and KE7OZA Bryan Young.

COMMUNICATIONS: The Depot Café is closed for the winter.

COMMITTEES: There will be a VE test session on October 20^th at the Ellensburg High School.

OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS: There will be a Health Department drill on the 16^th of October which will include flu shots at the Cle Elum Centennial Center. Also another drill will be on October 23^rd at Bi-Mart parking lot in Ellensburg.

Gloria, WA7GYD, has been nominated for county RACES Officer.

The Eastern Washington Section meeting will be on November 10^th at Yakima.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: KD7MDX suggested we talk to the Depot about installing a radio station at the Depot. WA7HNH made a motion to pursue that and KI7AO seconded the motion.

Dick, K7KFM, will be leaving the area October 24^th. KB7XQ, Bill, will finish the current term as acting President. KI7AO will move up to President in January and Hazel, KC7NTP, was elected Vice President for next year. Jack, WA7HNH, will continue as Secretary/Treasurer.

The meeting was adjourned at 0820 hours.
