UKCARC MEETING 5 October, 2003

 

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:35 A.M. BY Vice President John Stefani

 

 

1. REPORTS OF OFFICERS:  Treasurer $908.06                                               Members present:

 

KD7MDX John, KC7ZUM Ray, KC7NTP Hazel, KD7DGB Jul, Barbara, KC7KEM Mike,        WB7TMV Charlie, WA7HNH Jack, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, and W7TXU Jim.

 

 

 

2. COMMUNICATIONS:  The club received a $50.00 donation from KCRA  and a $20.00 donatrion from Elmer, KC7BUC.

 

 

 

3. COMMITTEES: The ham radio class will start nexct Tuesday, October 7th and they will be 1800 to 2000 hours each Tuesday for six weeks. The exam will be on Sunday, November 16th. This will be held at the Valley Christian School, 270 Mission Road.

The Friendship dinner was a great success again this year. We had 31 folks attend and the food was great.

 

 

 

4. OLD BUSINESS: The club repeater is now located at it’s new location on Stafford  in Cle Elum. The autopatch is now working again as well as echolink.

The KCRA repeaters are now working with the new controller and 7.36 radio. Harold did a great job getting them set up and all seems in great shape now.

 

 

 

5. NEW BUSINESS: As directed by the constitution, nominees for next year were chosen today. The vice president automatically moves up to president. Ray Killian, KC7ZUM, was nominated for vice president  and Jack Williams was nominated for secretary-treasurer. The election will be at the November meeting.

 

 

 

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
