UKCARC MEETING 7 November, 2004

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:17 A.M. BY President John Stefani

REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $802.84

1. Members present: KD7GXJ Mike, W7TXU Jim, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, KD7MDX John, KD7DGB Jul, Barbara, KB7XQ Bill, KC7ZUM Ray, WA7HNH Jack, K7RZS Phil, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: The ARES test last week went well. Also conditions were good for the HF contest last weekend.

3. COMMITTEES: Nomination for next years officers were nominated. Ray, KC7ZUM, will move up to President. Bill, KB7XQ, and Craig, N7XEQ, were nominated for Vice-President. Jack, WA7HNH, for Secretary-Treasurer. Elections will be at the December meeting.

4. OLD BUSINESS: The County Ham dinner at the Homestead Restaurant was very good. We had 19 fine people attended. A motion was made to plan the dinner next year on the last Saturday of September. Bill moved to accept and Ray seconded.

The RACES applications are still with the Sheriff’s office.

5. NEW BUSINESS: Bill, KI7AO, and Fred, W7FEH, attended the KSAR meeting and discussed communication.

Mike, KD7XJM, gave a nice slide presentation on the upcoming Winter Sports Rodeo coming up January 15^th or in February as an alternate time.
