UKCARC MEETING 2 November, 2003

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:30 A.M. BY President Beth Rogers

1. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $940.69 Members present:

KD7DGB Jul, Barbara, WB7TMV Charlie, KC7ZUM Ray, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KC7KEM Mike, KC7NTP Hazel, W7TXU Jim, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, KB7XQ Bill, WA7HNH Jack, KD7MDX John.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: There is a problem with the 442.200 repeater at this time. Hopefully to be corrected in the near future.

3. COMMITTEES: The Ham classes are going well. There has been good turnout and it is great to have so many of the county Hams attend to help Bill with the class.

4. OLD BUSINESS: Last month at the dinner we discussed how everyone got started in ham radio. It was interesting to hear the various stories.

5. NEW BUSINESS: WB7TMV moved that the nominations for club offices be closed. It was seconded and passed.

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Search and rescue training was held yesterday. It went well but there was no APRS training.

7. The meeting was adjourned at 0847 hours.
