2. COMMUNICATIONS: Question was asked about how not to have to listen to the Oregon repeater on 147.16. The answer is the 7.16 repeater transmits a 131.8 tone so set your radio up on CTCSS and you won’t hear the Oregon repeater.

4. OLD BUSINESS: Jack reported that he now has the interface for Echolink and is trying to get a computer set up for it. Hopefully be running before the next meeting.
5. NEW BUSINESS: There will be a Search and Rescue training exercise with communications on the 23rd of November. Time will be 0800 hours at the SAR building in Ellensburg. Nominations were opened and no new members were nominated. The vote came out with Beth, KC7ZQD President, John, KD7MDX Vice-President, and Jack, WA7HNH as Secretary-Treasurer. They will be effective 1 January, 2003.
6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Charlie, WB7TMV, attended the Rodeo City Radio Club meeting on Saturday. He enjoyed the meeting and the chance to meet some of the lower valley Hams. He also invited them to attend some of our meetings. Thanks Charlie.
