COMMUNICATIONS: Jack told about the Yahoo Groups site for Kittitas County ARES. You will find the site at www.groups.yahoo.com/kittitasARES
COMMITTEES: KI7AO commented on ARES activity recently. 4/1 was Canyon Marathon, 4/19 the hospital radios were installed, 4/19 Kittitas County Emergency Council meeting, 4/22 Clarkston EWSE conference, 4/29 EOC Drill with 14 participants. Also it was mentioned to use the ICS forms for traffic. On 5/2 was the PHS Drill.
OLD BUSINESS: On June 10th at 0900 will be the Kittitas County Radio Clubs joint meeting at the Cle Elum Fire Station. The Northwest Division ARRL member will be there to talk to all. The Skywarn class was a success at the Senior Center.
NEW BUSINESS: Up coming events are as follows: 7/2 Runner Stumbles Race, 7/23 Whiskey Dick Triathlon, 8/26 100 mile run, and 9/? Elmer’s Race.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: The annual potluck dinner that Dian hosts is going to be 6/29. Work is starting again on getting the 444.925 repeater on Lookout Mountain. K7KFM has a repeater on 443.450 with a 131.8 tone ready to go. It is recommended that we all do the FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 online test. NC7C and KE7EIK put on a very good presentation on Winlink.
