UKCARC MEETING 2 May, 2004

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:15 A.M. BY President John Stefani

1. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $940.97 Members present:

KK7VL Jim, W7TXU Jim, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, KB7XQ Bill, KC7ZUM Ray, WB7TMV Charlie, KD7MDX John, KB7ZYJ Charles, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KC7ZQD Beth, N7XEQ Craig, KD7OZN Mike, and WA7HNH Jack.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: The club station at CWU is getting going. There will be more on this at the May 15^th get together.

N7KGS and KI7AO downloaded all the Kittitas County Hams listed and came up with a count of 171 that are current on their licenses. Who knows about their addresses.

3. COMMITTEES:

4. OLD BUSINESS: The Runner Stumbles Race will be held on July 4^th this year. Whiskey Dick Triathalon will be July 18^th. The 100 mile race will be the last weekend in August. Finally “Elmer’s” race will the 18^th of September.

5. NEW BUSINESS: KI7AO will email the results of the SEC meeting.

The Rodeo Parade on Labor Day weekend is still up in the air as far as using Hams for communications. If they want help Jim, W7TXU, will let us know.

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Echolink is off of the repeater for the time being as I have lost my ISPw connection to it. I am working on getting it going by other means as soon as possible.

Bob Johnson is back to work but is trying to catch up from the time he was off work.

Elmer is on his way home for the summer. He should be here tomorrow sometime.
