 3. COMMITTEES: The Rodeo City Radio Club has cancelled the joint club field day exercise. The reason being there was no interest from the membership to get things going and we are out of time now.

The Runner Stumbles race is coming up the 7th of July. Check with Bill, KI7AO, for your assignments. The 5K course is going to be different this year so more help may be needed.

The 21st of July is the Whiskey Dick Triathlon. Larry, N7KGS, is coordinating that event.

The 100 mile run will be August 24th and 25th. Bill, KI7AO, needs help for that one.

The Ellensburg Rodeo Labor Day Parade will be Saturday August 31st. Jim, W7TXU, is the contact for that one.

Last but not least is the Cascade Crest Run, or better known as Elmer’s race, on September 21st. Elmer, KC7BUC, is the person to contact on that one.

 4. OLD BUSINESS: A reminder that the SeaPac Northwest Ham Convention at Seaside, Oregon will be held May 31st and June 1st and 2nd. As a result of those dates it was recommended that the meeting be delayed one week to June 9th as many of the members are planning on attending SeaPac.

 5. NEW BUSINESS: KSAR is getting going again with some new personnel in various positions. Things should be running smoothly again soon.

The KCRA group is going to have the Kittcom site finished this year. Harold, WA7UHW, has devoted many hours to this project and it is turning out to be one of the best systems around the area.

 6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Craig, N7XEQ, announced that he has some 12volt rechargeable batteries available to anyone that wants them. Contact Craig for more info.

The Search and Rescue warehouse was broken into at Ellensburg. There were some survival packs and a computer stolen. If someone offers you a good deal on a laptop be careful it may be hot.

NEXT REGULAR CLUB MEETING TO BE HELD 9 June, 2002.
