UKCARC MEETING 7 March, 2004
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:08 A.M. BY President John Stefani
REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $952.98
1. Members present: N7XEQ Craig, W7TXU Jim, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KC7KEM Mike, KC7NTP Hazel, KC7ZUM Ray, KD7MDX John, WA7HNH Jack.
2. COMMUNICATIONS: There will be a weather watcher class at the Cle Elum Senior Center at 7pm. This is presented by the National Weather Service from Pendleton, Oregon. There will be VE exams on April 17th at Ellensburg. The Yakima hamfest will also be held on April 17th. This year it will be at the Selah Civic Center. Jim, W7TXU, reported that Bill, KI7AO, is doing quite well after his surgery and should be returning home on Wednesday.

5. NEW BUSINESS: On May 15th there will be an all Ham meeting at the CWU Flight Tech building at the Ellensburg airport. The Kittitas County Repeater Association and ARES reports will be given.
6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Jim, W7TXU, has offered to hold CW practice sessions on HF at 7134khz at 1500 hours every Sunday starting today. KC7KEM, KB7XQ, KC7ZUM, and WA7HNH stopped by to say hello to N7XQL, Ralph, at his daughter and son-in-law’s new home on the Westside coming home from the Mike and Key hamfest. It was nice to visit with Ralph, Diane, and Larry. John, KD7MDX, made a very generous donation of coffee cups to all members attending with the club call and individual name and call engraved on it. Thank you John.
