COMMUNICATIONS: Gloria and Boyd interviewed with the Daily Record and with the help of Bill Bowden produced a very good article in the paper. A motion was made and seconded to send a card and flowers to Tom Coughlin in thought for the loss of Jan very suddenly. Jack will give the Yahoo website for Kittitas County ARES another month to show so action. If none he will terminate the group website.
COMMITTEES: Sgt Slyfield from the Kittitas County Sheriffs office is going to be invited to the Saturday annual meeting to discuss CERT training. Also CERT info is available on line at WWW.citizencorps.gov/cert.
OLD BUSINESS: The annual meeting on June 19th was discussed and the time was to start at 0900 and K9JF, the Northwest District Director will speak at 1000.
NEW BUSINESS: Upcoming events are: 29 June, Dian’s Potluck, 2 July, Runner Stumbles Race, 23 July, Whisket Dick Triathlon, 26 August, 100-mile Race, and 16 September, 50K Cle Elum Ridge Race.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: The crew is working on getting the 444.925 repeater up and going. Also, Dick, K7KFM, said he is getting close to having his 443.450 repeater on the air. Starting in July, ICS forms will be used for all nets. Charles, KB7ZYJ, has a good refer to give away.
REMEMBER THE MEETING IS 0700 ON JULY 2ND.
