COMMITTEES: Yesterday Harold and Jack went up to Sky Meadows to repair the power output on 147.36. It was found that the dual stage isolator was defective so they removed it and Harold is going to have Bob Johnson check it out. The power out is back up but the isolator needs to get back in to protect the transmitter from harm.

Dian announced the annual get together at there place in the Teanaway on 23 June starting around 4:30pm. They are furnishing two types of meat and we are to bring salads or deserts. This is a wonderful annual event.

OLD BUSINESS: John gave a report on the jackets. Gail is still working on getting the logo to her liking. John will send an email to get the orders when she is happy with her efforts. Thanks Gail.

NEW BUSINESS: The EOC at the Cle Elum Fire Station is coming together nicely. Thanks to Mark Snyder we have the mounting bracket ready to install. He designed and made the whole thing. Elmer is donating a power supply to use until we can get one permantly. The installation crew needs to get up and find the feedline pipe and get it in operation.

Next Saturday Bill, KI7AO, and his crew are going to Easton to determine the needs to get the Easton EOC set up and going.

Bill, KI7AO, Boyd, and Gloria had a meeting with the Kittitas County Public Health office Friday. The district wants a memorandum of record for communications support as they are planning for a possible future bird flu emergency. They also are planning a SET exercise on the 29th of June. Bill will advise as soon as he knows more.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Jack made a motion that the funds received from the 50K South Cle Elum Ridge Race, better known as “Elmer’s Race”, will be split 50/50 between the RC2 and UKCARC. Jim seconded the motion and it was passed.

Bill, KB7XQ, moved that a letter be written to the KCRA to receive the $50.00 from last years race that was approved quite some time ago it was thought. Dick seconded that motion and it was approved. The Secretary will write a letter to the KCRA Secretary so there Board can act on that motion.

The meeting was adjourned at 0915 hours.
