UKCARC MEETING 1 June, 2003

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:23 A.M. BY President Beth Rogers.

1. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $867.55 Members present:

KC7BUC Elmer, Margaret, W7TXU Jim, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ MaryJo, KD7DGB Jul, Barbara, WB7TMV Charlie, WA7HNH Jack, AA7PR Dick, KB7LHE Dian, KB7XQ Bill, KC7ZUM Ray, KC7ZQD Beth, N7XEQ Craig, KD7MDX John, and KK7VL Jim.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: Everyone was asked to check their listing and let Jack know the corrections. Also Jack was advised to change all attbi.com addresses to Comcast.net.

3. COMMITTEES: The Runner Stumbles race will be July 6^th and the club breakfast will be at 0700 hours that day. Again, the Whiskey Dick triathlon will be July 20^th. The 100 mile race will be August 23^rd and 24^th. No word yet on the 50K race.

4. OLD BUSINESS: Sentiment in both clubs is to stay as we are, a small ARES group.

5. NEW BUSINESS: The Wenatchee Hamfest is next weekend at Dryden.

Dian announced the annual potluck at their place in the Teanaway. It will be Thursday June 19^th at 1600. Also the annual breakfast at Jim’s house will be July 12^th.

Beth will send a card from the club to Emmitte wishing him well.

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Beth is going to forward to Jack a paper on the CAT project.

KI7AO,KB7XQ,KC7ZUM,KC7BUC,KC7ZQD, and WA7HNH attended a weather spotter class at Ellensburg on the 29^th of May.

162.400mhz is the Cle Elum NOAA wx station at Sky Meadows.

Don’t forget the Sunday night ARES net on 147.36.
