MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:09 A.M. BY President Hazel Moore REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $1017.14 Members present: KE7WRY Tim, KE7GPG Iris, KB7XQ Bill, KB7ZYJ Charles, W7TXU Jim, KI7AO Bill, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, KC7NTP Hazel, W7HNH Jack, KC7ZUM Ray, and KD7MDX John. COMMUNICATIONS: None COMMITTEES: The KPC3+ tnc’s are on backorder still. There will be an ARES EWA test of SSB on 2M February 7th. On February 19th there will be a Region 7 Hospital Drill on VHF, HF, and Digi. 1100 hr start time. The exercise on December 23rd went well considering the bad weather. There were no dignitaries and the only official was UnderSheriff Myers. It was decided that as soon as Jack can get up to Lookout he will change the node frequency to 145.03Mhz. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: It was announced that N7YRT has rehabbed PK-232’s for sale. KI7AO got an email from the person with the 100 mile Cascade Crest race that said the website has been updated. Hold the weekend of 29/30 August open for the race. The Whiskey Dick Triathlon will be a two day event this year on the 3rd weekend in July. KE7CXD will be handling that event. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Congrats to Tim. He passed his Extra Class exam last week. KI7AO is going to reorganize the ARES equipment this spring. Mike, KC7KEM, has a Yaesu 7100 that is available. It was determined that the table arrangement did not work well so they will be back in a line next month as with this arrangement people were back to back and could not hear well. The meeting was adjourned at 0832 hours.
