MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:07 A.M. BY President Dick Morrison
REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $1386.26
Members present: KB7XQ Bill, K7KFM Dick, KC7ZUM Ray, W7TXU Jim, KE7APW Steve, Barbara, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, WA7HNH Jack, N7FQR Bud, N7GWB Dave.
COMMUNICATIONS: The Club got two nice letters. One from Fire District #7 thanking the Club for the donations in the names of Stan Moore and Marilyn Woods. One from Hazel Moore thanking the Club also.
COMMITTEES: WA7HNH reported a problem on the Lookout repeater. He will get up there as soon as he gets the seats back on his snowmobiles. KC7ZUM, the NCS, reported on the State ARES Emergency drill on December 30th. 44 folks checked in on the Sky Meadows repeater and all but one also checked in on 147.54 simplex. Also AC7VT, Dwight, was complimented for his operation on HF for the state exercise.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: There was a discussion on the county power outage. There will be after action meetings with the various agencies involved. Jim, W7TXU, brought up the idea of ticket sales and splitting the pot 50/50 with the winner and the Club. Tom, W7USR, suggested having an auction next months meeting. The ideas were well received so bring along something that you want to unload and get the Club so more funds in the bank.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: WA7HNH reminded people of the MFJ antenna analyzer that is available to Club members. WA7HNH is to check out the cost of and amplifier and preamp for the 147.36 repeater and report back.
