UKCARC MEETING 5 January, 2003

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:27 A.M. BY President Beth Rogers

1. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $900.71 Members present:

AA7PR Dick, N7XCJ Mary Jo, KI7AO Bill, W7TXU Jim, WB7TMV Charlie, KC7ZQD Beth, N7XEQ Craig, KC7NTP Hazel, KD7DGB Jul, Barbara, KD7MDX John, KC7NIO Jerry, KC7ZUM Ray, KC7KEM Mike, KD7OZN Mike, and WA7HNH Jack.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: NONE

3. COMMITTEES: The club has been asked to give a demonstration of amateur radio to a group of scouts. The demo will take place on the 19^th of February. More next month on this.

4. OLD BUSINESS:

5. NEW BUSINESS: Elmer, KC7BUC, is doing fine. He came home on Thursday, a day earlier than expected.

The January meeting of Search and Rescue will be held at Cle Elum.

The SAR rep said that there were two fatalities in the last twoweeks. There were no callouts though.

The next exercise will be an avalance exercise.

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: It was moved and seconded to donate $15.00 to QSL.net for another year with the club webpage.

Next months meeting will be at the Cottage Café again. Nice to see Cheryl back with us.

7. The meeting was adjourned at 0900 hours.
