2. COMMUNICATIONS:  The 442.200 repeater is up and working. The audio is somewhat distorted but they will solve that with the new radio when the weather permits. It is using the new tone of 131.8hz.

The ARES net is operating on Sunday.

VE testing went well in December and there will be another session in February.

There will be a Search and Rescue exercise on 12 and 13 January. There also will be a full blown winter training exercise on 9 February.

3. COMMITTEES:

4. OLD BUSINESS: The Rodeo City Radio Club is still talking a joint field day at Reecer Creek and Bender Road.

5. NEW BUSINESS: There was a new motion made, seconded and voted to buy a preamp for the 147.16 repeater. We will try a loaner first to see if it is worth the money to do this.

WA7HNH has set up a web page on QSL.Net. The members approved a $15.00 donation for a year using that URL. The address is www.qsl.net/wr7ukc. Keep an eye on it.

6. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:  A member reported that renewing your license on line is not as easy as it seems. You need a password besides your FRN. Check it out before the last minute.

It was asked if the club could hold a session or two on new radio orientation and practices. Jack will coordinate with Chuck Norton to get fire station upstairs. Jack will email notice out on schedule.

7. The meeting was adjourned at 0901hours.

NEXT REGULAR CLUB MEETING TO BE HELD 3 February, 2002.
