COMMUNICATIONS: Boyd, N7AAW, is still waiting for the Sheriff’s office to get their laminator repaired or replaced to finish the cards. COMMITTEES: The winter sports rodeo was successful from the organizers standpoint but there were some serious problems that have been addressed and they hope to resolve these problems next year based on what happened at the first rodeo. Radio communication is one of the major hurtles to get straightened out. They are going to have better leadership next year by having a leader for each major area instead of one person trying to do everything. OLD BUSINESS: Jack still needs to get ARRL Club affiliation going. NEW BUSINESS: Bill, KB7XQ, reports that the ARRL Level 1 course is very worth while and thinks that everyone should take the course. We were reminded that the hamfest season is starting up. Puyallup in March, Yakima in April, and Seaside in June. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Ray, KC7ZUM, passed out a drawing for building a portable antenna mast made out of PVC pipe. Ray also gave a report on security on cell phones and wireless computers. Jack reported that echolink is working good on the repeater but there is a problem on the received end, either feedline or duplexer problem. The meeting was adjourned at 0845 hours.
