MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:08 A.M. BY President Bill Lowery

Members present: W7USR Tom, KE7WRY Tim, KC7ZUM Ray, KB7ZYJ Charles, W7TXU Jim, KC7NTP Hazel, KE7GPG Iris, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, W7HNH Jack, KB7XQ Bill, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, K7RZS Phil, KD7MDX John, KE7APW Steve, and Barb.

COMMUNICATIONS: Jack was notified by Don Bobo the other night that KE7SP, former KA7FNF, Don Stewart had become a silent key a week ago Friday. Don was one of the original members of this club. Also Don and his XYL Doris owned Totem TV Repair which he sold to Dennis and is now the Radio Shack store in Cle Elum. Don will be missed by Us that new him.

Jim, KK7VL, called Bill, KI7AO, and said to say hello to everyone.

COMMITTEES: Tom, W7USR, gave a nice report on the advancement county hams are making getting the digital mode up and running. The digital node is up and operating on Lookout mountain. It is using CLE as an alias for W7HNH-8.

OLD BUSINESS: It was brought up that John, KD7MDX, and his XYL Gail should be recognized for there efforts and doing the Ales to Rails event and also a big thanks to Gail for the fine food she served.

The semi-annual SEC was held at Pasco and the next on e will be at Colville on May 2^nd next year.

NEW BUSINESS: On December 23^rd the Red Cross is going to have a shelter drill. It will involve the Ellensburg High School and ARES will be manning the Cle Elum Centennial Center.

W7HNH made a motion and W7TXU seconded to purchase a KPC3+ with Club funds to support the County ARES installations. It was voted and passed.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: President Bill Lowery handed the gacel over to Hazel Moore, KC7NTP, who will be the new president starting on the next meeting. Thanks Bill for a good year in office.

The meeting was adjourned at 0845 hours.
