UPPER KITTITAS COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUBWR7UKC REPEATER UKCARC MEETING 3 December, 2006 MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:22 A.M. BY President Craig Johnson REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $1426.26 Members present: KB7XQ Bill, KD7MDX John, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, KC7ZUM Ray, W7TXU Jim, KC7KEM Mike, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, K7KFM Dick, WA7HNH Jack, N7AAW Boyd, WA7GYD Gloria, and K7RZS Phil. COMMUNICATIONS: KI7AO made a motion to donate $50 to Fire District 7 in the name of Stan Moore. W7TXU seconded the motion. KB7XQ made a to donate $50 to Fire District 7 in the name of Marilyn Woods. KC7ZQD seconded the motion. COMMITTEES: The last state ecomm drill will be on the 30th of December. The plan is to have all county EOC stations on the air. All the Alinco radios for the EOC’s are here and KI7AO got his money from the Sheriff. W7FEH and KI7AO were suppose to go to the Public Health building to see how and where to install and antenna and feedline. Public Health did not call so it will be next year before this happens. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: KI7AO talked to KC7BDC on the status of the Stampede site. It was learned that PSE is not going in the building so next year possibly KCRA will be able to install a remote receiver for 147.36. The Cle Elum Fire Station is now operational as an EOC. Thorp Fire Station is also operating now. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: This was the final meeting for Craig as President. He handed the gavel over to Dick, K7KFM. Thanks Craig for a good year.
