UKCARC MEETING 5 April, 2009

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:02 A.M. BY President Hazel Moore

REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $627.14

Members present: KC7NTP Hazel, W7HNH Jack, KB7XQ Bill, W7TXU Jim, KE7GPG Iris, KE7APW Steve, Barb, K7RZS Phil, W7FEH Fred, KC7ZUM Ray, KD7MDX John, KE7OZA Bryan, N7XEQ Craig, and KC7ZQD Beth.

COMMUNICATIONS: Information was given out on the upcoming hamfests. First one is Yakima and that is April 11^th. Next is the Stanwood ARC Hamfest in the last part of April.

Were told that Christopher was doing well. Good news on that.

The memorial service for Don Bobo was very nice. Thanks to Ray and the rest of the VFW members for their part.

COMMITTEES: John, KD7MDX, was asking about the date for this years Rails to Ales. It will be the second weekend in July.

The orientation class for getting an amateur radio license held at the Thorp Fire Station went very well. Thanks Bob and others involved.

There will be a VE session on April 18^th at the Ellensburg High School.

OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS: The next Mass Casualty Drill will be held June 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th. More information as it is released.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:

The meeting was adjourned at 0818 hours.
