UPPER KITTITAS COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUBWR7UKC REPEATER UKCARC MEETING 3 April, 2005 MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 8:26 A.M. BY President Ray Killian REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Treasurer $967.21 Members present: W7TXU Jim, KI7AO Bill, N7XCJ Mary Jo, KB7XQ Bill, WB7TMV Charlie, KB7ZYJ Charles, N7AAW Boyd, WA7GYD Gloria, K7RZS Phil, KC7NTP Hazel, N7XEQ Craig, KC7ZQD Beth, WA7HNH Jack, KC7ZUM Ray, N7FQR Bud, N7GWB Dave, and KD7MDX John. COMMUNICATIONS: Jack received the approval for re-affiliation to the ARRL. He updated the database for the Club with them. The Yakima hamfest will be on April 16th. SeaPac will be June 17th thru the 19th.
COMMITTEES: The Runner Stumbles Race will be held on July 3rd this year. The course may be at Suncadia but there will be meetings to finalize the race in the near future. The Yakima Canyon race went well. There were over 400 runners. It was a good race. As soon as the Cle Elum fire station is accepted by the city we will go up and determine the needs to get the EOC going. KCRA will purchase the antenna for the EOC.
OLD BUSINESS: The ARES/RACES leadership requested a meeting. The meeting was held and the topics discussed were the Hospital site, the Cle Elum EOC, and the Easton EOC.
NEW BUSINESS: Saturday Bill, KI7AO, talked to Sheriff Dana. He and Sgt Slyfield apparently are not in favor of the Ellensburg EOC being at Kittcom. John gave a report on the jackets. They will be in the area of $36.00 and up to $49.00 with the sewing added.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Dave Thompson took the equipment that was available from the ham on Lower Peoh. Field Day will be on June 25th and 26th this year. The question of selling the 147.16 repeater to KCRA was discussed and it was not approved at this time.
The meeting was adjourned at 0915 hours.
