SSB Station - W9PC (Sam Paul - W9AH checking it out) Equipment from
this station included a Yaesu FT-920, and two dipole antennas and was
provided by WM9M. The logging software used was N1MM Logger and was
equipped for operating PSK (which was never used). The station ran 100
watts. A total of 342 SSB contacts were made from this station during
the 24 hour period. Operators at this site included K9MD-Steve, KC9DYM-Kevin,
KC9DYL-Tyler, WM9M-Terry, KC9CQD-Chris, WD9FHZ-Mike and KC9DHI-Bruce.

Shortly after the event started it was determined the original location
was not acceptable for operation due to some limitations with the antenna.
So we packed it up, moved it from the shelter house to a location outside
giving better access to antenna orientation. Downtime was about 20 minutes
while this occurred, but in true fashion of field day be prepared to
deal with unexpected.

Vern Kaspar - W9FAM and Mark Phillips - W9PC were busy hitting the
airwaves and ruling the airwaves as they pounded the brass.
CW Station - W9PC (Mark) - Tuning up the station and getting ready
for the big event. This station was equipped from Mark's gear and was
using the ICOM-775 transmitter, 100 watts into 5 different antennas,
a 10 meter, 15 meter, 20 meter, and 40 meter dipoles with a inverted-V
for 80 and 160 meters. Logging software was the WR9R logging sofware.
Operators at this station included W9PC-Mark, W9FAM-Vern, K9DGS-Don,
and W9AH-Sam. A total of 1462 contacts were made from this station during
the 24 hour event.

The CW location. A collapsable mast to help get the dipoles up and
running to the far tree to get the 10-15-20-40 meter dipoles in the
air. The 80-160 meter dipole was attached to the mast in an inverted
V orientation.

Gota Station - WM9M Equipment from this station included a Yaesu FT-920,
and two dipole antennas and was provided by KC9ERL. The logging software
used was N1MM Logger.. The station ran 100 watts. A total of 376 SSB
contacts were made from this station during the 24 hour period. Operators
at this site included KC9ERL-Bill, N9SFA-Larry, K9JRC-Jon, N9MXG-Tony,
WM9M-Terry, KB9LDK-Tony, and many others..
Here is the GOTA station in operation (K9JRC-Jon and N9MXG-Tony) while
the relief crew is lined up waiting in the wings. It pays (well maybe
not exactly pay, definitely its a big benefit) to have good operators
ready to go.
The GOTA shack and the lift truck got the 6 meter antenna and one end
of the dipoles up at the 100' level.
