In January 1985 Grady (W5QLD SK) initiated a  1010 Certificate Chapter with 50 local Hams called "Grinning Armadillos".  In the Spring of 1999, when the second CM (KA5LZG) became a SK the net finally went QRT.  However, the remnants of the chapter and some loyal followers have continued to share their Ten Ten numbers. The once daily net is now a Tuesday evening only  at 7 PM Central time near 28.482MHz............ Please look for Corpus Christi area  Hams at other times on this frequency.
