Welcome To My Website

Welcome to http://www.qsl.net/we3wee!

Thanks for stopping by! Ham Radio is a great hobby! This website is about my interests, including Amateur Radio, Links and Projects. I started this website in April 2015. I have some previous experience with web design and creating websites. I enjoyed this experience while 10 meters is slow. I have spent many hours changing and tweaking the sites pages. I have just gone back to plain and simple look. I love to keep this site up to date, so please keep checking back. You can browse all of my pages via the main menu. I really hope you enjoy your visit here, and please contact me, with any suggestions or improvements. My email address is at the bottom of each page, or visits my contact page. My name is Rich, and my ham radio call sign is WE3WEE. For the past 14 years, I have work full time, as a field service engineer for a large medical equipment company. I also worked in area hospitals as a Biomed Technician. I completed my Technician Class License in April 2014, and will soon be taking my General License. I have learned quite a bit along the way, My interest started when I was a young boy, and my father bought me a short wave receiver, and I have been hooked ever since. I also have owned many CB radios and had a FCC license, KBP4418. When I received my new call sign, for amateur radio from the FCC, I thought it was a tongue twister. So I purchased a vanity license. My Radio is a Yaesu FT-897 with a MD-100 mike, and I use a straight wire, end-feed antenna. I love digital, and you can find me on JT-65 HF most of the time. I also use Echo Link, with a vanity node number of 59913.
