I am involved with the Medical Amateur Radio Council, better known as MARCO. This is an international group of health-care professionals who meet regularly via short wave, to discuss topics of interest and to be of service (with consultation, donated equipment, etc.) to doctors, missionary hospitals and others in developing countries.
