YO OARC!, Miss u fellows. My lack of participation is mainly due to other impressing obligations es personal puniness. Don't know if I'll ever be active agn as a ham operator myself but sure want the hobby to thrive. Bask in the mni fond memories of the great comradeship I enjoyed wid the OARC. I've heard from some of the "JARHEAD NET" regulars. The net is made up of Marines, Corpsmen es other Wannabe's. They meet Saturday AM's at 7.228Mhz about 0730. Wear "Waders" when u check in on this net. I'm thinking those fellows are getting up in years. Believe some vividly recall sniping at the enemy from the rigging. With this being the case they sure need some "Young Blood", anybody under 75, to keep the ranks filled. They wud welcome u aboard. Take care, CUL es 73. Semper Fi!

I will be the Assistant EC for king George county Va for about 6 months to a year then probably move up to the EC
geting involved in the clubs in Fredericksburg and Stafford Va. Also joined ARES / RACES here in VA

Great web site. I was the first president of the club when it was revived in 1972. We put the 147.00 repeater up in 1976. Always enjoyed the club Field Day!

Hello once again from Okinawa. Still trying to get in contact with Juan Lopez. I have e-mailed him at his home qth and left a previous message on the logbook but no luck... Is he alive or hiding out? Just wondering. Cant wait to see him again when I get back to Jacksonville. Cant wait to share some of the times and stories Juan and I have had with your club members....
