I am Joseph D. Aymond, Jr., U. S. Navy Retired. I am originally from Louisiana (Pure Bred Cajun) born on Bayou Teche, Arnaudville, Louisiana.

During my Military Career, I complete two degrees. One, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies, from The University of the State of New York, in Albany, New York.

I became a Ham Operator in 1975 on an Island off the coast of Puerto Rico. The Island's name is Viequez, Puerto Rico. The Ham Operator who encouraged me into this wonderful hobby is George W. Chuey,USMC,Retired

My interest are Ham Radio, Computers, Cooking, Baseball, Football, and Reading but not necessarily in that order.

I hold a Extra Class Amateur Radio License as of 12/31/96. I was Past President of the Columbia Amateur Radio Society from 1/1/95 to 12/31/96. I am a Volunteer Examiner for the Columbia Amateur Radio Society effective 03/30/95. I am an Official Observer for the Northern Florida Section, appointed by the American Radio Relay League, Inc. as of 4/21/97.
