I did have a very long rant here on the Watchguard Video Systems DV1 Device.
Since some of the things I documented were the subject of contract issues I knew nothing about, I feel obligated to remove the old page. Both the good and the bad.
Repair times have decreased
significantly.
The failures I was seeing have trended way
down.
If you buy this device follow a few standard business practices.
Do have a contract and get delivery
schedules in writing.
Do purchase an extended warranty if you
can get it.
Do insist on backwards compatibility for
all future deliveries.
