The WDØDAN JNOS BBS system was going to be removed from service due to equipment failing. At this time, it seems to be holding its own and I will keep it running. If it takes a turn for the worse and needs major repair work, it will be taken off line.

      Is a full service AX25 / TCPIP system running the latest version of JNOS. The system consists of a 200 MHz pentium with a 2.1 gig hard drive. UPS backup power on all equipment.

At the present time, 6 ports are utilized and are configured as follows:

    1.   Port 1  145.65 MHz @ 1200 baud     (User port)
    2.   Port 2  145.07 MHz @ 9600 baud     (User port)
    3.   Port 3  444.4/444.9 MHz @ 9600 baud    (Internet gate)
    4.   Port 4  430.55 MHz @ 19200 baud  (Southern MN packet backbone)
    5.   Port 5  223.42 MHz @ 1200 baud     (User port - test mode)
    6.   Port 6  430.05 MHz @ 9600 baud     (Local PacketCluster backbone)

Features include:

  • E-mail service for the amateur operator via packet radio.

  • AX25 personal mail forwarding.
  • Telnet service. (To DXClusters, Callservers etc)
  • AX25 bulletin forwarding.
  • Gateway to the Internet.
