Help getting your amateur radio license

In the Garland area, the Garland Amateur radio club occasionally offers classes. These allow you to learn with others in a friendly environment where you can ask questions or discuss the topics presentated.

A full self-study program for a Technician License by NC4FB. This includes a syllabus, question pool, practice materials (flashcards), and practice exams.
https://hamexam.org/ has practice exams and flashcards too for all levels of amateur radio licenses.
The ARRL also has a practice exam site at http://arrlexamreview.appspot.com. You do not need to be an ARRL member to use this, but you do have to register for an id.
