This page is an experiment . . . and an effort to learn web authoring. Interesting . . . the WEB is a low cost way to communicate with people almost anywhere. When I was first licenced, Ham Radio was almost the only thing which could make that claim! Computers were strange things which were hidden away in the recesses of colleges and large corporations. They were cared for by an army of seemingly elite and very esoteric people.
Now, of course, we have a better idea of what those folks did. The computers are much more powerful. And they are found almost everywhere. My first was very expensive -- and could do very little. But it was amazing! Just like that first contact on the radio!
The way in which the RF and the bits progressed and became united was an amazing thing to watch. Now, the two are as one! And the lines of communication have blurred -- over the air OR over the wire?These make a great hobby. This is my first page! I hope to add to it very soon. And, I certainly thank K3TKJ for the unique opportunity he has provided me.
