George was active in the Phoenix Rotary club

George Carrington had been a ham radio operator as a young man and let his license expire. After talking to me at church, I renewed his interest in radio. George went on to pass his test and build up a station anyone would be proud of. George was active in MARS and ARES.

He died in the spring of 1994.
