Good afternoon,

We�re recruiting for a senior level Modeling Engineer with good
systems/sub-systems level experience. This is a challenging and broad
ranging position providing technical leadership to both the internal and
external clients of Fairchild Semiconductor.

Responsibilities include: assisting outside customers with
sub-systems/backplane simulation; leading the growth of the company�s own
internal modeling resources; consulting on design simulation for the company
�s new semiconductor products; attend conferences/seminars to
maintain/expand technical expertise; develop tools and capabilities to run
sophisticated system simulations; develop industry presence as the expert in
the field.

The position requires a minimum of five+ years of related experience and a
strong technical background and interest in simulation technology. Excellent
compensation and bonus package in the low to mid six figures, with
outstanding professional growth opportunities.

The position is with Fairchild Semiconductor in the Interface and Logic
Group. Fairchild, one of the original developers of the IC and founder of
Silicon Valley, re-emerged in 1999 as an independent public company
(FCS:NYSE). The company�s strong management has been very successful in
planning and implementing its aggressive growth strategy, rapidly expanding
internal opportunities. In the third quarter, the company�s revenue growth
was 40% with earnings up over 400%.
