Hi All,
1. Can any of you tell me how to avoid AC power line transients pickups and
triggering by a scope for this wrong signal
during single a shot capturing some event which may appear after a long timegap.
For example, I see very
big transients(many volts for 1V/Div) when a table top tubelight is powerd up
and similar noise bursts from unknown source.
As such I am not able to observe the required event(a TTL signal) so far. I am
triggering for hi-lo transition.
My digital ground is connected to chasis. My system chasis and Scope chasis is
connected to AC Earth.

2. Also when I suddenly move in-out of the chair !.

3. With ref to Ferrite Beads: Can we use High freq chokes like small tubular
beads on a thick axial wire on VCC and GND
inlet of a card(ie other page/part of sch). Which may offer no resistance for
signal spectrum except for high freq noise spikes.I assume.

Thanking you
