Fred, Lynn, and Keith,
It just seems to erupt every once in a while. I think Tony has the picture
now. The user base appreciates keeping this a technical forum.
Thanks again,
Ken

I didn't know this was turning into a commercial forum. The delay
of a tightly coupled serpentine will not be reliably predicted by
use of 2d field solvers and then simulation thereof. This is true
of anybodys 2d field solver no matter how accurate the algorithm
may be for transmission lines or coupled transmission lines. There
are non-TEM effects that occur that cause the delay to be less than
the predicted. Its not just a matter of crosstalk. Anybody that has
measured this in the lab has experienced this. Its not a question
of tools but rather the method(s) being used. Full wave analysis
and lab measurments confirm this.

Sorry Lynne its not just an HL problem but rather all tools that
rely on 2d field analysis.
