This problem seems to show up only on Hspice 99.4 and later. It problem
does not show up if you use Hspice version 99.2 and earlier.

Subject: [SI-LIST] : DGELS error in HSPICE

Several folks here have run into a very cryptic error when attempting to
analyze RLGC-based W-element decks under HSPICE:

" ** On entry to DGELS parameter number 10 had an illegal value"

The simulation doesn't even quit with a warning/error message; the process
simply dies. The documentation gives no information on this error.

The deck in question features a large coupled RLGC matrix model and I
gather, from the use of the function DGELS in other applications, that the
matrix processing is somehow being corrupted. Can anyone offer guidance on
how this issue can be avoided?

Thanks!
