Hi, Mike and Perry,

HyperLynx can output transmission line
information, including terminators, formatted
for HSPICE. It generates the topology as a
SPICE subckt, ready to add to the main circuit
(which would contain the buffers and other
active components). Any number of crosstalk
coupled nets can also be output.

SPICEWriter is included in the HyperLynx
download demo at http://www.hyperlynx.com.
For more detailed information, please contact
me directly.

Lynne

Rumor has it that Hyperlynx has a spice writer
option that is compatible with hspice, but I
have not used it. Apparently it generates a
subcircuit that you call from the main spice
deck.

Perhaps Dr. Lynne Green (of hyperlynx) could
further illuminate our esteemed readers and
let us know what the limitations are.

Hi!

Besides editing HSPICE input file manually, is there a schematic tool
which allow you to draw a schematic and then export it into .sp file ?
Sometimes it could be very time consuming to write the spice file
manually. How do you guys work around this problem ?

Thanks for your input.

Perry
