Are you doing this on UNIX or NT? It seems as if I heard it somewhere
that this feature only works on UNIX.

Subject: [SI-LIST] : HSPICE Vector File Problem

I've become attached to running data patterns from a .vec file on my simpler
HSPICE files. When I have simple files that are self-contained, no problem.
When
I have .include model files, or if I try to use .alter, I get an error
message
saying there is a problem opening the .vec file. I've appealed to
Avanti...they
replicated the problem, but no solution. It kinda reminds me of not properly
closing a file in 'C' then trying to re-read it while the pointer is still
at
EOF.

Anyone had any experience with this? Workaround idea?

Thanks,
