Si-list members-

Long time subscribers to this mailing list will remember discussions
from time to time about the need for a proper FAQ on Signal Integrity
and/or high-speed digital design topics. So far it has been agreed that
much effort would be required and a few pople have volunteered to help
distribute some of the load - but until now there hasn't been much
activity.

I was recently contacted by Andrew Phillips who is keen to see such an
FAQ-building project happen. He thinks it would help to have a central
website to handle coordination of information gathering and
dissemination activities. He has put together a preliminary version of
such a website that can be viewed here:

http://www.scs.ch/~andrew/hsdd/hsdd.html

At the moment Andrew has listed a few 'topics' on high-speed digital
design that should be persued - there are of course many more that need
to be included. He is looking for volunteers who would like to be
involved with working on each topic - specifically topic coordinators
(responsible for a particular topic) and topic peers (to help compile
and review information). Follow the links on the site if you are
interested in getting involved.

The site also includes other sections with general SI links, articles,
news etc. So far there isn't much there - Andrew has included them as
ideas. He is looking for any constructive suggestions.

This sounds like a great way to coordinate an FAQ-building project -
what do you think? Want to get involved? Check it out.
