Job Description

You will be responsible for analyzing and designing high speed digital
circuits in a Gigabit Ethernet new product development. The analysis
involves
electrical (especially timing) verification of a chip package, a printed

circuit board, or a system. The challenge comes with the ultra-high
data
rate, wide buses, multiple clocks, innovative circuitry, cutting-edge
technology, and a dynamically evolving architecture. You will be
assisted
by several CAE tools commercially available.

Skills Required

B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. degree in EE/CS
Strong digital circuits coursework
Use of general purpose lab equipment
Unix skills
SPICE simulation
Strong communication skills

Skills Preferred

Network technology
Perl/shell script writing
Previous (summer) job experience in a related field
