Yep and I forgot ...

Scale factors between different manufacturer's spice models
can make it near impossible to perform net level simulations
with different devices without major changes to the spice
decks to normalize the scale factors ...

Manufacturers who fail to release Spice models to outside
designers ...

Manufacturers who knowingly remove proprietary fearures
from their Spice models ...
