Nice to hear from you.

Your comments re: the low impedance effects are right on the mark. And, it
is very difficult to get accurate measurements of the milliohm levels the BC
laminates offer.

For physically large, higher current systems, one approach I have found
effective is to partition different sections of the PCB using power plane
moating techniques. This technique must be used by knowledgeable designers
who check for all critical current return paths, as well as all other normal
SI and EMC considerations. Most smaller boards perform well without such
surgery, but increasing clock speeds are forcing the issue harder and harder.
